Last night, I worked until 3 AM writing press pieces for work. One is something I believe is good, but my boss believes is good writing, but the wrong focus. Today, I made my argument for its use. She told me it was a good case. That she absolutely disagreed with me. That I could use it. That she was proud of me for arguing with her. I am confused.

I took courage and stood up for myself again this evening. Doing so was a disaster...I received back absolute vitriol. Does it count that I tried?
